The first volume of Trip Hop & Jazz focuses on Ninja Tune label artists, including several tracks each from Up, Bustle & Out, 9 Lazy 9 and DJ Food. It's a good collection of earthy downtempo grooves, though for a Ninja Tune retrospective, there are several acts notably absent -- like label-heads Coldcut.
