MAU2 - Symphonic Prog (Japan)


MAU 2 is a symphonic band that received the influence of progressive rock in the 70's, including YES, ELP and more, and elements of modern progression in the 21st century. It is characterized by a thick sound and ensemble with various keyboards and twin guitar, and beautiful melody and rich music.

The band history was long, formed in June 1983. In January 1985, it first lived at Sakae Grateful Yukka in Nagoya, then started live several times a year based in Nagoya. 

In 2000, it started making original CDs. In May 2004, 1st CD "VOYAGERS" was completed. Next year in 2005, it was released at the Progress shop world disc, and then, released at 2000 stores nationwide from the indie label Aqua Planet · Records. A CD review is published in the magazine "Euro Rock Press 26".
